Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated during the first round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO.
